Sustainable Development Program

Through our Sustainable Development program, we aim to bring a grassroots approach towards addressing some of the key challenges in sectors of high importance such as the economy, energy, and environment. As FIQ strongly believes in the concept of community development, we tackle all projects from this perspective, utilizing our grassroots expertise to engage in community outreach and mobilization for important issues and enable citizens to become part of the policy and decision-making processes.

Community Focus Groups are one of the main methodologies of our work in terms of community outreach and mobilization, but they also represent an action in their own right, as it is the mechanism through which our grant-giving program operates. This approach is of crucial importance in identifying the most pressing needs, challenges, and constraints of a particular community through a moderated community discussion, which will be organized by FIQ.
